Frequently Asked Questions
Is myofascial release and cranial fascial therapy effective for problems with my baby spitting up, body tension, torticollis, and irritability?
Bodywork for babies including myofascial release (MFR) and cranial fascial therapy (CFT) are a wonderful way to help a baby find optimal wellness allowing them to move freely, play, and be happy. These are specialty techniques I offer that are different than traditional physical therapy. Babies respond very well to these gentle holds and techniques making it a great choice to help with excessive spit up, body tension, torticollis, and irritability (colic).
Bodywork for baby is also a preferred practice in preparation for a tongue-tie release.
What makes your approach different?
I connect with your baby or child through movement and specialized techniques of Physical Therapy to help them heal and move more freely. My approach is different than traditional pediatric physical therapy. I have completed extensive hours of training to feel with my hands using myofascial release and cranial-fascial therapy techniques to get the results you are looking for for your baby…better feeding, preparation for tongue-tie release, equal body movements, less body tension, less crying, less spitting up, regular poops, and a HAPPY BABY. I do all of this through gentle touches and movement.
I also coach and provide holistic tools to help parents find ways to facilitate growth and motor development.

Do you take insurance?
VTK is considered an out-of-network practice with all insurance companies. Because we are a very small company, it is difficult to get a reimbursement rate that makes sense with our business model – QUALITY over quantity. At this point, we do not want to jeopardize this 1:1 quality of care.
However, I will supply a super bill at the end of each session. Here is a GUIDE TO SUBMITTING A SUPERBILL to learn more if you would like to submit to your insurance if they honor out-of-network benefits.
