Baby and Me Classes

Some people call them ‘Mommy and Me, Caregiver and Me, Baby and Me Classes’, but what are they?

Baby and toddler classes can be a great way to build a little structure in your day and spend time together. I hesitate to call these classes just “mommy” and me classes because ALL are welcome including:

  • awesome dads

  • involved grandparents

  • focused foster parents

  • enriching nannies

  • active babysitters

  • aunts and uncles who want to have some special time with your little humans

Everyone can join in the fun and learn something new!

I like to be part of the experiences that I know will help my child’s development

Benefits of Baby and Caregiver Classes for your child

Let me tell you, your baby is not too young for these classes! I am so passionate about early learning opportunities and experiences for your child. Classes tailored to the little ones are :

  • typically well thought out and most likely, research-based.

  • experiential for learning ! Let them learn from you during these classes and interactions.

  • great for watching them grow as they make brain connections with each observation and new play idea they discover. Your child’s brain grows and develops substantially during the first 3 years of their life.

  • helping them with their friendly social skills, being comfortable in group settings, sharing, and following instructions.

  • you are also creating special bonding opportunities with you too!

Benefits for Baby and Caregiver Classes for you (adults)

These classes can give you a special bonding time with your little one’s. It’s a great way to be able:

  • to do a fun activity and share the experience with your children at the same time.

  • great to be around other moms and adults who are living similar lifestyles as you are. You may also make a new friend!

  • make the class a playdate and then stay together to have a cup of coffee, chat, or grab lunch.

  • get out of the house!

Change up the day and scenery by going to a fun class. Make it something to look forward to every week. Instead of walking around Target with your kiddo, put in your pick-up order and hit a class instead! You will probably save money, because if you are like me, your cart ends up having 10 extra “maybe I need this” items in there. Spend that money you are going to save on a fun class instead :)

We are looking for ways to teach her how to learn and, at the same time, enjoy it ourselves.

What to expect in a Baby and Caregiver Class?

Most of these classes are structured with a primary facilitator or teacher. You as the adult are there to guide and help teach your child but the curriculum is planned by someone else. Yay NO real planning! Be as involved as your comfort level allows. Depending on the class type, your involvement might be different. Most class descriptions will tell you what to expect and how to get the most out of the class. Be present and watch the magic happen!

To help guide and motivate me to start engaging in different activities with my son.

I hope you venture out and find a great class that suits both you and your child! The learning opportunities can be endless in this great BIG world! Help your little one form as many brain connections they can!
